1. General Policy

At Paravai Travel and Tourism, we strive to provide the best travel booking experience for our customers. However, cancellations and refunds are subject to specific conditions as outlined below. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

2. Information We Collect

  • All cancellation requests must be raised through our official communication channels (website, email, or customer support contact number).
  • Cancellations are considered valid only after receiving written/email confirmation from our team.
  • Cancellation charges depend on the time of cancellation in relation to the booking/travel date.

  • 3. Refund Timeline & Processing

  • Refunds will be initiated only after confirmation from the respective service providers (railways, bus operators, hotels, etc.).
  • Refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment only (Bank transfer, Razorpay, UPI, or other third-party payment gateways).
  • Standard refund processing time is 7–10 working days as per banking/payment service provider rules.
  • In case of delays due to bank policies, Razorpay, or other payment service providers, an additional 15 working days may be required.
  • During peak seasons, staff workload, or unforeseen natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, strikes, pandemics, etc.), refund processing may be further delayed.

    More than 15 days before ✅ Up to 80% Refund - Service & processing charges will be deducted.- Subject to thirdparty vendor policies (hotels, buses, rail, etc.).- Refund processed via original payment method.
    7 – 14 days before ✅ Up to 50% Refund - Half of the booking amount will be refunded.- Additional vendor cancellation fees may apply.- Refund subject to partner confirmations.
    3 – 6 days before ✅ Up to 25% Refund - Only partial refund possible.- Deduction includes supplier charges, service fees, and taxes.- Refund processed via Razorpay, Bank, or Payment Gateway.
    Less than 24 hours before OR NoShow ❌ No Refund - Cancellation after 24 hrs from booking/travel date not eligible.- “No Show” cases (failure to appear for travel) will also not be refunded.

    Partially Used Services ❌ No Refund - If you cancel mid-journey (unused hotel nights, unutilized services, etc.), refund cannot be processed.
    Promotional or Discounted Bookings ❌ Non-Refundable - Special deals, festival offers, or promo packages marked nonrefundable cannot be cancelled or refunded.

    5. Non-Refundable Conditions

    Refunds will not be applicable in the following cases:
    If cancellation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled booking/travel date.
    In case of No-Show (failure to report at boarding/arrival point).
    For partially utilized services (e.g., unused hotel nights, partially completed tours).
    For bookings made under special promotional offers clearly marked as non-refundable.

    6. Force Majeure

    Paravai Travel and Tourism shall not be held liable for delays, rescheduling, or cancellations arising due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural calamities, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or technical issues from third-party service providers. Refunds in such cases will be processed subject to third-party policies and may take additional time.
